In a word, this is delicious. Also a trip to sodium city. Yoy.

A typical pack of eight skinless, boneless chicken thighs fit perfectly in our oval Le Creuset. And we like this creamy, so we add closer to 1 1/2 cups to rice to 1 3/4 water/milk mixture. We like baking at 340F for an hour to 1 hour 15 minutes.

The newsclipped recipe (March 1992) omitted the oven temperature: it should be baked at 275-300F for two hours. We baked at 350F and it got a little crunchy!

Remember to mix the raw rice with the liquid. Our last two tries left us with some uncooked rice.

Also would like to try this with some canned green chilies!
